Desser Suspension

Desser use Pirelli Webbing for their under cushion seating suspension. Its synonymous with comfort and durability. Customers love the way they sit into the furniture with a seat that “gives” and recovers. Webbing is the most traditional method of support giving great strength and longevity. Using Pirelli rubber ensures a long maintenance free period unlike the cheaper imitations that use poor quality rubber requiring frequent replacement.

Desser Cushions

Desser are specialists in the manufacture of cushions, they produce all of their own cushioning in the Manchester  to the highest standards. All main cushions are included and  scatter cushions are available at extra cost. Desser offer a full replacement cushion service when the time comes ensuring your furniture is usable now and well on into the future.

Desser Fabrics

FABRIC SPECIFICATION

Please note for Kinross Check and Highland fabrics on this suite, we (Desser) will use Kinross Plain or Sand (respectively) fabric for the front and arm upholstery. The Kinross Check or Highland fabric will then be used on all other parts of the cushion, unless specified, in which case an additional charge may apply.  All other fabrics will be upholstered all over unless stated.                                                                                                                                                          

Please also note that there will be no piping added to back or base cushions for Stripe or Check fabrics (Linen Taupe, Linen Blush, Linen Check, Kinross Check, Zara Stripe, Roma, Rydal, Cosmo, Ashton, Royal Stripe, Royal Square, Royal Lattice, Pimlico, Mayfair Stripe and Highland) but there will be on all other materials.      

Desser offer 3 price bands of fabrics with “B” grade being the lowest price and “D” grade being the higher cost. (You can view the fabrics here on the website). There is a massive choice of fabrics to choose from, giving customers a great choice. All of the fabrics can be dry cleaned  (even more impressive are the B grades & some C gradest can also be machine washed at home on wash temperatures up to 30 degrees) All loose cushions can have their inners removed from the  cushion cover  by using the zips provided.

Desser Technical

All foam, fibre and fabrics conform to the UK’s stringent fire retardant legislation.

Don’t let the fully upholstered arms worry you for cleaning as there are many small upholstery cleaning machines available to hire, or low cost services in your area. They really do not need that much attention and they are fantastic to rest your arms on!!

Arlington frames are simple to clean using a slightly damp cloth once in a while.
