These high quality parasols are operated using a pulley and locking pin. You quite simply pull the cord down to raise the parasol to the required height and then insert the brass pin to secure the parasol in position.

To lower the parasol you hold the cord pulling it very slightly to allow the locking pin to be removed (by hand). Then simply allow the cord to pass through your hands until the parasol canopy is in the lowered position.

All Alexander Rose Hardwood Parasols should be used in conjunction with a parasol base.

All parasols should be lowered in windy conditions to prevent damage.

The Hardwood parasols have a “Spun Poly” canopy 270 gsm (grams per square metre), which is similar to Polyester. It is an oil based fabric which is Teflon coated and PU Treated. These canopies are, fade, shrink, crumple & stain resistant.

The Alexander Rose Hardwood Parasols are available in 3 sizes & three colours:-

2.7mtr diameter

3.0mtr diameter

3mtr x 2mtr rectangular

(All three are available in Ecru, Green & Taupe)

(The pole diameter is 35mm for all 3 sizes)

(Overall height is quoted at 2400mm for all sizes, the canopy starts at 1100mm off the ground which equates to approx. 360mm above a table top, with most table tops circa 740mm). This means the parasol can be lowered over a table without it hitting the table.

It is recommended that all parasols are stored in a clean damp free environment during the winter.

Where to use;-

We find that this 2.7mtr diameter parasol is used with 1.2mtr diameter tables through to 1.5mtr diameter tables dependant on customers requirements. If you are unsure on what size to order please give us a quick call, we have been selling parasols for 20 years and will be able to help.
