The Canopies are secured very strongly to the aluminium spars and using the simple ”winding” handle the canopy can raised or lowered. There is a quality finial to complete the top of the parasol, and a plastic “plug” in the bottom of the shaft to prevent scraping.

This range also offers a quality tilt mechanism allowing the parasol to “lean” in one direction to offer protection from the sun as it lowers to the horizon.

There is a very tough polymeric “hub” which holds the spars and allows the parasol to be raised and lowered.

The canopy is made from Polyester (410 gsm) which is significantly thicker than the cheaper alternatives.
